Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking systems and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been fixed and do not resurface.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and ensure optimal user experience.
- Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and test coverage.
- Analyze test results, generate test reports, and provide feedback to stakeholders on product quality.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve identified issues.
- Continuously update testing processes and methodologies based on industry best practices.
- Contribute to the improvement of software development practices by providing feedback on quality-related processes.
Key Skills Required
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and experience with test case design and execution.
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python) and experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Prior Knowledge and testing experience in Salesforce is a plus.
- ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.
