Our client is a leading brand for coffee accessories in Europe, they had their physical stores in the Netherlands but wanted to expand their business all over Europe and wanted to collaborate with new chains for their products and manage their business operations online. Also, they gradually wanted to move out of their outdated management system.

Project Challenges

Following are the challenges which they were facing:

  • Customized View: One of the challenges that the client and his team faced was that they wanted to have a customized view, whenever a field agent visits any potential customer or any new store so that they can reduce the timing for finding the relevant information and connect with their customer easily.
  • Distance and Location: As the field agents needed to visit the physical store, they wanted to spend minimum time to reach the store and be on the exact location rather than spending much time in reaching out to the store and covering minimum grounds in a day. 
  • Task Assignment: The client had a fixed set of action items or tasks which had to be performed by every agent at the time of store visit, they wanted to minimize the time for explaining or training the agents manually for the tasks assigned to them.
  • Negotiations for the sales deals: They wanted to minimize the efforts which were made to negotiate and close a deal with any of the stores. They wanted to capture all the deal details in one place to make it easier for the field agents and manager to close the deal.  
  • Manage new stores:  Once the deal was closed with a new store, they wanted to manage and maintain the information for inventory, orders, surveys, etc for each store in a single place. It would have been very difficult to manually visit the stores every day to check whether a store is fully stocked, get feedback, etc. 
  • Store Performance: As they were planning to partner with multiple stores, they wanted to make sure to keep track of every store’s performance and keep an eye on the KPI’s so that they can keep on improving and keep a track of the store’s progress. Also at the time of the store visit if any of the agents find out the product placement is not correct or if the branding needs to be done properly, it can be a hassle for them.
