Salesforce winter Release’ 22 has been announced. It includes several new but important features and functionalities. 1. Einstein Search

Equipped with Artificial Intelligence, Einstein Search will be enabled by default in Salesforce Winter 22 Release. 

2. Improved Page Performance

The new release has another big update that lets Admins improve the load time of pages. It also suggests how to minimize Page load time without making extra effort easily.

3. Flow Updates

Flow update has new surprises for Admins and users. Many new features have been added, and some of these features are quite useful, for example:

  • The navigation buttons that appear on the screen flow can be relabeled.
  • It lets you reconnect flow elements in auto-layout.
  • New functionality is added to configure batch size.
  • It can call a Subflow from a Record-Triggered Flow.
  • It can record any query of any specific Subflow from the triggered flow.
  • Can configure Batch size for scheduled Paths.

4. Outbound Messages Feature

The outbound messaging facility has also been given in the new update. Now you can also send messages to other services outside of Salesforce.

5. Dynamic Gauge Charts in Dashboards

Dynamic Gauge Charts feature was added to Salesforce Admin a long time ago. Till now, only KPIs could be tracked but now you can create a proper strategy using this tracking to make your business more profitable. In addition to this, the analytics of the entire business can also be seen for the specific value in the dashboard.

6. Added New Forecast Category

Salesforce introduced a new category titled “Most Likely” in the new update. Earlier, it had only four categories namely Pipeline, Best Case, Commit, and Closed. After adding the fifth category, you can split users into groups and sort accordingly.

7. “Your Account” App

Salesforce has also redesigned the billing section. Although these features are not that glamorous, using these, you can review your Salesforce invoices, products, and contracts. The names of some tabs have also been changed like “Checkout” has been renamed as “Manage Subscriptions”. Apart from this, many new things have also been added.

You can utilize the “Your Account” app to improve the product and the license count can also be increased. Billing information can be updated by reviewing currently available products in stock. The currently available statements, orders, and invoices can also be viewed in the app. All these features can be enabled by visiting the app.

8. Customization of Button Labels in the Flow Screen Footer (Beta)

Now you can edit the labels according to your convenience in the flow builder wording for the pause, previous, next, and finish buttons. Earlier you had to develop a unique component separately to edit these buttons, but now they can be customized.

9. Get Suggestions to Migrate Workflow Rules

Many changes have also been made in the Salesforce Optimizer app. Utilizing these, you can delete inactive workflows or put some restrictions on them without disturbing others.

10. Elements Can Be Connected (Beta)

In auto-layout, any element can now be connected to an element other than the end element. Although this feature is not yet given in the regular update but is available only in the beta version. This will help you to complete specific tasks comfortably.

11. Dynamic Interactions

Dynamic Interactions have also been added in the Winter’ 22 Release. This feature allows the administrator to create different components. With the help of this, from which place the user is coming, that eject place can also be seen on the map.

12. Flow Orchestrator

Flow Orchestrator was announced in June 2021. This has also been added in the Winter’ 22 Release. It helps admins to create multi-user, multi-step automated business processes. The most important thing, you do not have to code but only a few clicks. Now you can create multiple flows in a single dashboard and decide in which sequence these steps should be performed.

13. More Fields Inline Editing

In Summer’ 21, Salesforce provided the option to edit the data. Its functionality has been increased in the latest update. Admins can also edit date, picklist, and lookup fields in the data.

14. New Home Page for Mobile Users

A new home page has been introduced for mobile users (for iOS and Android). On the new home page, mobile users will be able to customize what appears on the page through “cards”.

15. Email Template Builder Updates

Some important updates have also been added to the software’s Email Template Builder. There you will see new email templates. In addition to this, Rows and Columns can be added to these templates. Admin can change the email format sent to the clients at their convenience.

16. Send List Emails via Your Email Provider (Pilot)

Until now, email was sent to recipients on email lists through Salesforce, but now administrators can also send emails to clients on email lists via personal mail or other email service providers (such as Gmail or official email).
