Salesforce Launched New AI Tools to Its Industry 

Salesforce has added new AI tools for industry clouds for:

Financial Services: Salesforce launches Complaint Summaries that automatically summarize customer complaints by using generative AI to transcribe customer complaints.  

Life Sciences: Candidate Auto Matching helps quickly identify the eligible participants for relevant clinical studies.

Healthcare: Salesforce’s Patient Services & Benefits Verification tool feature allows patient information on one platform, eliminating the need for switching between platforms and enabling fast secure approvals. 

Automotive: The new Salesforce feature “Vehicle Telemetry Summary” utilizes AI to monitor vehicle performance based on telematics data, so customer service agents can quickly identify maintenance issues.

Public Sector: Salesforce also announced a new feature for the Public Sector titled “Application History and Version Comparison.” Application History leverages Gen AI to provide an overview of the application including status change, history,  past outcomes, etc to simplify case management. Whereas, Version Comparison creates AI-generated summaries to understand the difference between current and past applications.  

Consumer Goods: The inventory Check feature provides delivery supervisors with the ability to create a contextualized summary to track inventory and identify problems with deliveries.  

Energy & Utilities: Salesforce introduces new AI-powered features for this industry namely “Bill History and Rate & Usage Insights.” Both features analyze customer bills and usage to identify pattern changes and assure them they are on the right plans.

Manufacturing: The Asset Service Summary feature leverages asset data to provide manufacturing service agents with details of alerts, open cases, warranty status, etc.  

Education: The new feature of Salesforce for the education industry “Requirement Inquiry & Opportunity Management” allows recruitment teams to streamline processes and engage prospective students.   

Nonprofit: For the Nonprofit industry, Salesforce’s new feature “Program Participants Notes Summaries” ensures program managers deliver personalized care to program participants and manage cases more efficiently. 

Net Zero: Salesforce’s new feature “ESG Disclosure Report Generation” for the Net Zero industry allows the generation of ESG reports easily with the help of generative AI. 

Communication: The “Quick Quote” feature allows the generation of budgetary quotes for multi-site and helps sales reps to boost efficiency and deliver personalized customer experience. 

Media and Entertainment: The new Salesforce feature “RFP Management” leverages Gen AI for the proposal process (RFP) and helps sales teams to respond quickly to proposal requests.
