Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding and analyzing business processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into functional specifications and assist in the successful delivery of projects. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing user acceptance testing.

The role of a business analyst is an important part of any project team. Acting as the key interface between the users and the project manager they gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users.

Educational Qualification:

  • MBA/PGDM, BBA,, BCA, MBA, or equivalent degree from a recognized university will be preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Certifications in the related field are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, business scenarios, task and workflow analysis, and reverse engineering.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
  • Understanding business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific software requirements and also identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Understanding nonfunctional requirements and parameters.
  • Documenting and analyzing the required information and data to the last detail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to ensure clear communication and alignment on project deliverables.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making and project prioritization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
  • Ability to debate and discuss contradictory opinions and be flexible in your thinking.
  • An understanding of traditional development approaches, and the ability to compare and contrast the benefits of each.
  • Expertise with Agile Delivery Methodologies (i.e. Scrum, tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.)) and helping teams explore, adapt, and optimize.
  • Provide ongoing support during the implementation phase, including user training and documentation.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to measure their effectiveness and recommend process improvements.

Key Skills Required

  • Requirement assessment and elicitation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business, needs into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Prior experience in following agile methodology in project life cycle and certification in the same is a plus.
  • Documenting and analyzing the required information and data using FRD, BRD, Wireframing, and other requirement-gathering skills. 
  • Have knowledge of any Programming Language & DBMS (not necessarily be a programmer).
  • Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Proficiency in business analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience with process modeling and documentation tools (e.g., BPMN, UML) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Expertise with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
